Privacy Policy for ACS DriveCam

ACS DriveCam respects your privacy.
This app is designed so that your recordings, trip information, and related content are stored locally on your device. Auto Culture Society does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share your personal data through the app.

2. What ACS DriveCam does
ACS DriveCam allows users to record driving footage, save clips, log journey information, and generate trip based outputs such as video content and PDF summaries.
The app is designed to operate primarily on device.
3. Data collection
ACS DriveCam does not collect personal data on our servers.
We do not receive, access, or store:
your video recordings
your photos
your audio recordings
your location history
your trip data
your exported files
your driving statistics
your contacts
your messages
your payment card details
Any content you create in the app is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or share it yourself using services available on your own device, such as iCloud, Files, AirDrop, or other third party apps.
4. Data stored on your device
Depending on how you use the app, ACS DriveCam may store the following locally on your device:
recorded driving videos
saved clips and snapshots
journey details
GPS coordinates
route and trip statistics
average speed and distance information
user settings and preferences
generated PDF summaries
temporary processing files needed for editing or export
This information remains under your control on your device.
5. Location data
If you choose to enable location features, the app may access your device location to support features such as:
route capture
trip mapping
GPS coordinates
journey statistics
location based metadata in exports
This location data is processed and stored on your device only. It is not transmitted to Auto Culture Society.
You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
6. Camera, microphone, and photo library access
ACS DriveCam may request access to the following device features in order to function:
Camera to record video or capture images
Microphone to record audio with video
Photo Library to save or export footage and images
Location Services for route and trip data
Files access where needed for exports such as PDFs or saved video content
These permissions are used only to provide app functionality on your device. Auto Culture Society does not access this content remotely.
7. Analytics and tracking
ACS DriveCam does not use third party advertising trackers.
ACS DriveCam does not track you across apps or websites.
ACS DriveCam does not sell data to advertisers or data brokers.
If this changes in a future version, this privacy policy will be updated before those features are introduced.
8. In app purchases and payments
If the app offers in app purchases or subscriptions, payment processing is handled by Apple, not by Auto Culture Society.
We do not receive your full payment card details or banking information.
We may receive limited information from Apple necessary to confirm purchase status, such as whether a subscription is active, but we do not receive your private financial details.
9. Data sharing
Auto Culture Society does not share your personal data because we do not collect it through ACS DriveCam.
Any sharing of videos, clips, images, PDFs, or trip data happens only if you choose to export or share content yourself using your device or third party services.
10. Data retention
Because ACS DriveCam stores data locally on your device, retention is controlled by you.
You can remove content at any time by:
deleting recordings or files within the app
deleting exported files from your device
uninstalling the app
removing app data through your device settings where applicable
11. Children’s privacy
ACS DriveCam is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Security
Because your content is stored on your device, the security of that data depends in part on your own device security, including:
device passcode or biometric protection
Apple ID security
local backups or cloud backup settings you choose to use
We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using strong device security settings.
13. Third party services
ACS DriveCam may allow you to export or share files using third party services or apps available on your device, such as Apple Photos, Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, Messages, or email.
Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
14. Your rights
As ACS DriveCam does not collect or store your personal data on our systems, there is generally no server side account data for us to access, correct, or erase.
You remain in control of your data on your own device.
If you contact us with a privacy question, we will do our best to help.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates, legal requirements, or operational changes.
Any updated version will be made available through the relevant website, app listing, or in app materials, with a revised effective date.
