Privacy Policy for Auto Culture Society ColourLab
Effective date: 9 April 2026
Last updated: 30 July 2026
Auto Culture Society ColourLab is a creative car-colouring app. This Privacy Policy explains how information and creative content are handled when you use the app.
1. WHO WE ARE
Auto Culture Society ColourLab is provided by Auto Culture Society.
Privacy contact: contact@autoculturesociety.com
2. WHAT COLOURLAB DOES
ColourLab lets users explore automotive colouring sheets, colour and trace artwork, use editing tools and visual elements, listen to music while creating, save finished images, collect Auto Culture Coins and unlock optional creative features. The app is available for iPhone and iPad and includes optional in-app purchases.
3. DATA COLLECTION AND ACCOUNTS
ColourLab does not require or create an Auto Culture Society account and does not ask for a name, email address, username or password. The audited version does not upload your artwork, projects, settings or progress to Auto Culture Society cloud storage or an Auto Culture Society server.
Auto Culture Society does not receive your contacts or messages, or your full payment-card or banking details through the app.
4. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
ColourLab stores artwork, project details, custom text and palettes, settings, achievements, coins and creative progress locally in the app’s storage on your device. The app and its widget may share limited progress values through Apple’s local App Group storage. CloudKit is disabled in the audited version.
5. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
ColourLab asks for notification permission for optional local reminders. If permission is granted, reminders can be controlled in the app and device settings. When you choose Save to Photos, ColourLab asks for permission to add the generated image to Photos.
The audited version does not request access to read your photo library, camera, microphone, location or contacts.
6. AUTO CULTURE COINS AND CREATIVE FEATURES
Coins, achievements, unlocks and creative progress are feature data stored locally on your device. They are not a financial product, cash balance or transferable currency.
7. ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING AND TRACKING
ColourLab does not include an Auto Culture Society or third-party analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDK, does not display third-party ads and does not track users across other companies’ apps or websites.
Apple may independently process App Store, purchase, diagnostic or usage information under your Apple settings and Apple’s policies, and may make limited App Store or diagnostic information available to developers.
8. IN-APP PURCHASES
Optional content packs are non-consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple. ColourLab uses product and entitlement status to unlock purchased content and caches purchased product identifiers locally. Auto Culture Society does not receive full payment-card or bank-account details through the app.
9. SAVING, SHARING AND THIRD-PARTY DESTINATIONS
ColourLab does not automatically upload artwork. When you choose Save to Photos, Share or Export, the device sends the generated image to Photos or to the destination you select. If you restore a purchase or open an external website or social link, Apple or the selected service handles that action under its own privacy policy and terms.
10. RETENTION, DELETION AND RESET
Projects can be deleted individually in ColourLab. Reset Progress resets coins, XP, streaks, unlocks and achievements but keeps projects. Uninstalling the app normally removes its local app container, but copies previously saved, backed up or shared may remain in the destination where you placed them. Apple purchase history and device backups are controlled through Apple and your device settings.
11. YOUNGER USERS
ColourLab does not require an account or ask for a name or email address. Parents and guardians should supervise device permissions, optional purchases, external links and sharing where appropriate.
12. SECURITY
Because creative content is stored on your device, its security depends in part on the security of your device, Apple Account and any backup services you choose. Keep your device software up to date and use appropriate passcode, biometric and account-security settings.
13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
ColourLab uses Apple StoreKit for purchases, Apple Photos for user-selected saves, Apple local notifications for optional reminders and the Apple system share sheet for user-selected exports. The app also provides links that you may choose to open in a browser or social app. Those services operate under their own policies and terms.
14. YOUR RIGHTS
Because ColourLab does not create a server-side personal-data account with Auto Culture Society, there is generally no ColourLab account data on our systems for us to access, correct or erase. You remain in control of content stored on your device. If you contact us with a privacy question, we will do our best to help.
15. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates, legal requirements or operational changes. An updated version will be made available through the website, app listing or in-app material with a revised date.
