Privacy Policy

Auto Culture Frequency
Effective date: 1 July 2026

Auto Culture Frequency respects your privacy and is designed with a strong on-device approach wherever possible.

This app is intended to operate primarily on your device. Unless clearly stated otherwise within the app, content you create, save, import, play, organise, or generate is stored locally on your device. Ashley Drury does not collect, sell, or share your personal data through the app except where this is necessary for core app functionality, legal compliance, purchase validation, or services you choose to use.

1. Who we are

Auto Culture Frequency is provided by Ashley Drury.

If you have any privacy-related questions, you can contact:

2. What the app does

Auto Culture Frequency is a music player, visualiser and automotive-inspired media experience app. The app may provide features including music playback, visual effects, audio-reactive graphics, library organisation, playlist-style tools, CarPlay-related functionality where supported, display modes, artwork presentation, and other audio or visual media features.

The exact features available may change over time as the app develops. The app is intended to operate primarily on device, although some features may rely on Apple services, device permissions, third-party infrastructure, music services, media libraries, or external integrations if introduced in future versions.

3. Data collection

Auto Culture Frequency is designed to minimise data collection.

Ashley Drury does not intentionally collect or store your personal music files, playlists, listening activity, visual settings, imported content, or personal media on private servers unless a specific feature clearly requires it and this is explained to you at the point of use.

Depending on the version of the app and the features you use, the app may process or store information such as:

  • music files, audio files, or media you choose to access through the app

  • playlists, favourites, queue information, or playback settings

  • visualiser preferences and display settings

  • app settings and preferences

  • imported images, artwork, backgrounds, or visual assets you choose to use

  • locally cached files required for performance

  • limited technical information needed for app functionality, purchase validation, subscription access, or crash diagnostics where applicable

Where content is stored locally on your device, it remains under your control unless you choose to export, back up, sync, stream, upload, or share it.

4. Data stored on your device

Depending on how you use the app, Auto Culture Frequency may store the following locally on your device:

  • app preferences and settings

  • saved visualiser modes or presets

  • playlist-style data or media organisation information

  • locally cached audio or image data where required for performance

  • imported artwork, images, backgrounds, or user-selected visual content

  • temporary files used for playback, processing, rendering, or display

  • exported files, screenshots, recordings, or other media you choose to create

This information is stored locally on your device unless a particular feature states otherwise.

5. Music, audio and media access

Auto Culture Frequency may allow you to access, play, organise, or display music or audio content that is already available on your device, through supported Apple services, or through other sources you choose to use.

The app does not claim ownership of any music, audio, album artwork, artist name, track name, logo, branding, image, metadata, or other third-party media displayed or accessed through the app.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, licences, permissions, or lawful access to any media you play, import, display, export, record, share, or use through the app.

6. Visualiser and generated visuals

Auto Culture Frequency may generate, display, animate, or reactively modify visual effects based on audio playback, app settings, user preferences, or selected visual modes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Ashley Drury does not claim ownership of third-party content that may appear in, influence, accompany, or be displayed alongside the visualiser experience. This includes but is not limited to music, album artwork, artist imagery, logos, brand names, track metadata, imported media, user-provided images, or third-party visual assets.

The app’s visualiser output is provided for personal, creative, entertainment, display, and media enhancement purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that any exported, recorded, shared, uploaded, streamed, or publicly displayed visual output does not infringe the rights of any third party.

7. AI or automated processing

Some current or future features may involve automated, algorithmic, or AI-assisted processing, such as visual generation, audio-reactive effects, artwork-style presentation, playlist assistance, metadata support, or creative media tools.

Where these features operate on device, your content is processed locally on your device.

If any future feature relies on external processing or third-party AI services, this will be made clear in the app or in an updated version of this Privacy Policy before those features are introduced more broadly.

8. Permissions and device access

Auto Culture Frequency may request access to certain device features where needed for app functionality. These may include:

  • Media Library or Music access for playing or organising supported audio content

  • Files access for importing, opening, saving, or exporting media

  • Photo Library access for importing artwork, backgrounds, images, or visual assets

  • Microphone access for audio-reactive features, live visualisation, or sound input where supported

  • CarPlay access where supported by Apple and the app’s functionality

  • Notifications for alerts, reminders, updates, or app-related messages

  • Local network or Bluetooth access where required for device, audio, or playback features

These permissions are only used to provide functionality on your device. Ashley Drury does not remotely access your content through these permissions.

You can manage or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings.

9. Analytics and tracking

Auto Culture Frequency does not use advertising trackers to follow you across third-party apps or websites.

The app is not designed to sell your data to advertisers, marketing networks, or data brokers.

If privacy-friendly analytics, crash reporting, or performance monitoring tools are added in future to improve app reliability, this policy will be updated accordingly.

10. In-app purchases and payments

If the app offers paid features, subscriptions, upgrades, lifetime purchases, or in-app purchases, payment processing is handled by Apple, not by Ashley Drury.

Ashley Drury does not receive your full card details or banking information.

Limited purchase-related information may be made available by Apple, such as confirmation of an active subscription, purchase entitlement, refund status, or successful transaction, solely for the purpose of enabling paid features.

11. Data sharing

Ashley Drury does not sell or share your personal data for advertising purposes.

Any sharing of content created, played, exported, recorded, or displayed through the app takes place only if you choose to export, save, print, email, upload, stream, publish, record, or otherwise share that content yourself using your own device or third-party services.

12. Data retention

Where data is stored locally on your device, retention is controlled by you.

You can remove content at any time by:

  • deleting files or saved content within the app

  • deleting exported files from your device

  • uninstalling the app

  • removing app data through your device settings where applicable

  • deleting imported media, images, or visual assets you have added

If a future feature introduces cloud-based storage, user accounts, sync, or server-side services, retention terms will be updated accordingly.

13. Children’s privacy

Auto Culture Frequency is not intended for children under the age of 13.

If local laws require a higher minimum age for certain services, purchases, media access, or online features, users must comply with those requirements.

14. Security

Reasonable steps are taken to support app security, but the protection of locally stored data also depends on your own device security.

You should use appropriate safeguards such as:

  • a device passcode

  • Face ID or Touch ID where available

  • secure Apple ID credentials

  • up-to-date software

  • appropriate backup settings

  • careful management of exported or shared media

15. Third-party services

The app may interact with services or apps made available on your device, such as:

  • Apple Music

  • Apple Music Library

  • Apple Files

  • Apple Photos

  • iCloud Drive

  • CarPlay

  • AirPlay

  • Mail

  • Messages

  • AirDrop

  • other apps, music services, storage locations, or playback destinations you choose to use

Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies, terms, licences, and permissions.

16. Your rights

Because Auto Culture Frequency is designed to store most content locally on your device, there may be little or no server-side personal data held by Ashley Drury.

In practice, this means you usually remain in direct control of your own data on your device.

If you contact us with a privacy-related request or question, reasonable efforts will be made to assist you.

17. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect app updates, legal requirements, operational changes, new features, third-party integrations, or changes to Apple platform requirements.

Any revised version will be made available through the app listing, associated website, in-app materials, or other appropriate app materials, together with an updated effective date.
